Bruce Bowers, violin

Bruce has played violin since the age of three. During that time, he scored well at local and state competitions and played with the Green Bay Youth Orchestras. Bruce went on to receive Suzuki teacher training at the Chicago Suzuki Institute and returned to SMA as a full-time violin teacher in 2004. In addition to teaching, Bruce performs as a freelance event soloist and also plays with the Green Bay Civic Symphony.

 Carrie Kulas, violin

Carrie is a veteran Suzuki teacher at SMA. She received her B.M. from the UW-Stevens Point and has studied Suzuki pedagogy with Margery Aber and John Kendall. Carrie has been a guest teacher at the American Suzuki Institute, the Fox Valley Suzuki Insitute, and the Holy Family Conservatory Workshop. Carrie currently serves as Concertmaster for the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra and has previously held this position with the Green Bay Civic Symphony. She also performs as a professional freelance musician for operas, musicals, and other shows.
